Rafaël Hoekema (1969-2021)

My beloved partner from 1998-2021 was Rafaël José Hoekema of the Netherlands (1969-2021). A torrent of inspiration for me and my work, Rafaël sadly died in my arms in January 2021, but since his passing, his memory has become the focus of my art and charitable donations. Watercolors donated in his honor now hang in Buffalo, New York, and in Utrecht, Nederland.

As a continuing legacy, I welcome requests for donations of my work to hang in equally important public buildings where "a moment of light" can provide inspiration and support, whether it be in a museum, hospital, hospice or other public spaces. Please make direct contact with me via this website.
